I was wondering what happened aside from tong poo hitting him a few times after the bell

 

Good fight. Ryder is a tough old boy. Went out on his shield tonight, doesn't have anything to be ashamed about. Great showing by Munguia, still some things to be worked on but he did damn good getting Ryder down so much and out of there.

 

Beatdown just as predicted. I had it Munguia stopping Ryder in the 8th. Pretty close.

 

Chuck him in with Mbilli then.

 

Credit to Ryder though he was tough.

 

Super impressed with Munguia. He's the first to (legitimately) stop Ryder, who IMO should have at least been a former world champion. I was kind of cringing at the prospect of a Canelo fight, but after that? Bring it on.

 

I give Ryder all the credit in the world for at least attempting to win and not giving up.
