In the first rounds... he seemed quite technical and careful after he knocked out Jhon he went back to the same old thing

Not really, I knew what was going to happen but people were picking him to win so it made it an interesting watch. Ryder is tough, full credit for making a fight out of it.

A polished turd is still a turd, Munguia and Oscar lucked out and Ryder was as shot as they were hoping he'd be. They miscalculated last time, the pungent corpse of Derevyanchenko still had a little life left in him.

No, not at all. As I said before, Ryder is LEVELS below Derevyanchenko, so I expected exactly that kind of result

Overall, I thought he looked better than he usually does. That being said, he is still one dimensional and basic but he's really good at that one dimension.

Both Morrell and Benavidez have better combinations and vibrancy to their games. I don't think Jaime would know what to do against them.

Logic says Canelo would beat him but he is aging by the day so who knows.

Not convinced. Ryder does not have the skills Derev has. That's an underrated win by Charlo. He handled Derev clearly

Surprised? No. But he looked better than usual and did the job. I think he just booked the Canelo fight.

He has turned out to be better than I thought he would be. Respect to Ryder, I didn’t really rate him either but he’s a tough man.

Well you can tell he was trying to box smart, but that’s not really his thing. We all know he really shines when spraying explosive combos throughout the entire fight, and going back to his basics got him another victory. There’s no way he beats Canelo, Benavidez, or Morrell.

No. Derev is way more skilled boxer than Ryder. Both are spent but prime Derev was way better than Ryder ever was, and he's clearly better nowadays too. Tonight was exactly the same Munguia who was on the verge of being KO'd by Derev

Ryder is 35 which is very old for a MW (and that's his real division). Mungbean is 27, which is prime, and gave him an 8 year age advantage.

Degale retired years ago at 33, after getting bashed up by Eubank Jr., so anyone who pretends mid-thirties isn't old for mid-sized boxers is very ignorant about sport and the human body.

Ryder actually gave prime Saunders one of his toughest boxing matches.

First time I've seen him and I like what I saw. Big fan of Ryder, and he's clearly damaged, but it was still a great performance.

True but Derev is 3 years older, spent in numerous wars and he is way smaller than Ryder. Yet he was on the verge of beating Munguia and even stopping him in 5th
