Cause they have very little fat, and mostly get the water out + they are on tons of s**** steroids. Not that most Boxers aren't, but you get the point. And Fury for certain will be eating a lot of wild boar tes**** for this fight no doubt in that.
Yup riddick Bowe ended up looking scrawny, not ripped in the Golota rematch after yoyoing in weight too often. Ali also looked feeble against Holmes when he tried to get back to his prime weight. Toney looked horrible when he came back to cruiserweight against Lebedev. Obviously PEDs shift the equation in how much muscle you can keep on a diet, but if youre being tested regularly as a previous offender like Fury probably is, and have bad genetics, a bad diet and discipline as well + over the age of 30 you'll end up a weak, skinnyfat mess if you try to get in shape in 8 weeks after pigging out at the buffet for months. Infact i bet thats what happened to Ruiz in the Arreola fight. The fact that Duran achieved what he did against Barkley after looking with that body, looking like a melted popsicle in his keep-busy fights above 160, just tells me hes the most skilled and talented fighter ive ever seen bar none. For the record i believe fury has been clean since the comeback. His body just looks so much worse even when he gets below 260. Not just is he way flabbier which could be due to loose skin, he has had basically no size or definition to his upper body compared to the cunningham fight for example.
All of these predictions are an extreme shot in the dark. There's nothing wrong with building an educated prediction (it's part of the fun of being a boxing fan) but this matchup is one of those fights where we simply have no idea until the first bell rings - and I believe within the first 30 seconds we'll see the basic pattern of the fight. It's one of those fights where everything hinges on how two very unique and polished styles gel with each other Ultimately, this fight boils down to literally two things: 1. Can Fury deal with Usyk's coordination and activity/can Usyk deal with Fury's dimensions and awkwardness 2. In the event Fury can't deal with Usyk/in the event Usyk can't deal with Fury, can they dig deep and come from behind That's basically it. All of this talk about Fury going through Usyk like a bulldozer or Usyk boxing Fury's head off, or combing through people's records and performances, it's just eh. I think Spence won R1 against Bud, but by R2 we knew who would win. We knew who would win, 20 seconds into the Beterbiev-Smith fight when Smith shelled up In the face of the evidence.......... Fury decision, maybe? A comfy 116-112? I/we have no idea. But I do think one fighter will show the other levels very quickly on It's going to be fascinating. Potentially painful and boring, but fascinating Will the Saudis rob Usyk? Maybe, but keep in mind the scoring for Wilder-Parker was extremely fair, when AJ-Wilder was LITERALLY going to be announced after the fight. Because the Saudis have an endless pit of money, and because Turkey seems to be a genuine boxing fan, we might get fair scoring. Fury-AJ could still happen for second and third place of this generation besides....
I think Usyk wins now. His punches will be too fast and short for Tyson. Tyson will try and box him and get schooled, Fury has gone away from his footwork boxing style recently. I see a Spence vs Crawford round 2-3 like revelation happening where everyone just sees Usyk is the much faster, better skilled guy and Fury will have no answer.
The more I think about it, the more I think it'll be a close fight. Fury isn't going to come into this complacent, and his size may prove to be an issue. Still think Usyk wins UD.
Usyk will KO Fury. Fury has never fought a skilled and fast boxer as Usyk. Fury's best win was against an old and shot Klitschko. After that he beat nobodies.
Thats right . Furys legacy is nothing against usyk,s massive amount of pro hw fights where every single of his opponents was a world top class contender
"Tyson will try and box him and get schooled" Fury's not narcissistic "pretty boy" without great heart like Joshua or Haye. If Usyk beats him as my gut says he will, I strongly expect Fury to go down fighting.
Fury needs to disrupt Usyk, throw him off balance and has little fear of Usyk hurting him with a punch. And then after a few clean body shots the party is over. Fury retires undisputed and fights back the urge to make a comeback in a year or so.
I strongly suspect this fight will be Usyk's last - win or lose - based on how I perceive him, his culture, his team etc. coupled with Krassyuk's opening comments at the presser. This will be the fight he has to dig deep. Someone needs to show this man footage of the Mariupol steelworks if he's struggling in R9. I thought Loma throwing away R12 against Haney AND Teo was disgusting. As others have said, Fury might be a clown, but beneath the 7 personalities, he's a genuine fighting man who will draw water from the well if needed
