That’s untrue. Parker is a good dude, Carries himself with class. CLASS. Unlike a few other heavyweights who ARE bad for the sport.

    Plenty of movement
    Sustained body attacks
Take him to the later rounds

Ellerbe quotes us all the time being passive aggressive looking for a fight, but cries when the heat gets too hot. It's pathetic.

Yeah exactly he did it to me the other day bringing up Tim Tszyu in a thread about Kell Brook and Errol Spence. He is a serial baiter who sucks up to authority.

At 40 plus I'm not sure how much longer Zhang will be able to maintain his form and it could fall off a cliff overnight at his age.

This fight will answer some serious questions and Parker a reasonable chance of causing the upset.

If Parker survives four rounds the fight is his, so I would say extreme caution early.

Look, you ****in spastic. I’m not your friend, so stop trying to get me to interact with you. Find other ways to seek attention.

The mods already put you in your place for this same circle jerk gas lighting you do in every thread.

If Joyce can land on Parker, So can Zhang. How well will Parker's chin hold up?

If Parker want win this he must be different boxer than he was even in his last fight.

Being quick on feet (he is not soo quick), coming in and out before quick Zhang hands catch him when he find his distance.
Survive hard Zhang punch is also what he will need.
And throw not 255 punches but at last twice more to try win decision.

And one more. Zhang stamina is not soo bad. Hrgovic need throw 700 punches to win with him and he got reach advantage, bigger power than Parker and same height.
And Zhang survive all 12 rounds with this tempo. Dont think Parker can make their fight more intense.

Dont get me wrong. Parker is good boxer but I see his chance like 25-30 percent max.
He just dont have advantage needed to beat someone like Zhang.
To beat Zhang u need be much quicker and good at moving (Usyk and maybe people like Sanchez, maybe old Fury and Joshua) or You must be strong, big and active enough to earn his respect with Your punching power and work in rounds like Hrgovic. Good for You if You can survive mistake because he punch very very hard.

Parker is too small, too slow on feet and he never was good in outpoint other fella even when they are smaller not bigger. That's why he got close fights with ppl like Takam, Chisora, Whyte, Ruiz and look worse with mobile Fury than older Pulev.
Because he is offensive dude with quick hands going toe to toe.
    Not best foot speed.
That's criminal vs someone like Zhang who will wait for him with super fast and strong answer

I dont see this good for Joseph. Zhang is not Wilder who even got few rounds without landing single jab....

    So given Parker's skillset then,

    What should Parker's plan be?

Get on his bike for 12 rounds, use his speed to jab and land the occasional combination for points and coverup/clinch whenever Zhang gets close.

And that's exactly what I think he'll try to do - keep it disciplined and use his superior speed (not too difficult to show superior speed in with Zhang)... Assuming he survives up to the point Zhang gasses, it should be a routine points victory from there.

At Zhang's age and with the gaping chasm of experience/proven-ness between the two, I'd have to have Parker as favourite - but heavyweight boxing anything can happen, and sometimes unproven fighters can become proven pretty quickly.

I mean, take his last fight.

One fighter is humble, doesn't duck hard fights, was willing to risk his belt to try and unify, has taken his losses with dignity.

The other is a big mouth braggart who ducks anyone with a pulse, held his belt hostage for years and uses every excuse under the sun when he's thoroughly beaten... Oh, and wants a death in the ring on his Wikipedia page.

Now... Which of these two is bad for the sport, again?

Well, and the other obvious question... Will Parker be as easy to hit as Joyce? Somehow I doubt it.
