Just had a look at how DAZN are doing on Trust Pilot. 97% have given them one star. I don't think I've ever seen such scathing reviews for any product in my life. Here's a few recent ones. "Awful, awful company, had the same experience as the other people here. Conned into a 12 month contract I didn’t know about and zero help from their customer service who’s attitude was ‘tough, you signed up for it" "Wish I Could give minus 100000000 stars and a bill for my time and stress! Absolute ******* cowboys and this is clearly outside of ANY law in the UK I’m sure" "Rip off company, paid for fight night just before Christmas 2023. Little did I know they signed me up for an annual plan at £9.99 per month, even after phoning them to explain I didn't ever agree they refused to cancel. Thieves and robbers"
Another thing i had a problem with a DZAN show tried to contact them and could only talk to a damn computer.Absolute terrrible customer service
Already cancelled mate. Kept sending me emails even though I unsubscribed from said emails which is surely illegal but they finally stopped when I spoke to the DAZN chat on Instagram and told them to fook off.
Not sure this has been mentioned but did you know with DAZN you can only log into it from the country where you originally signed up? So you basically need a VPN aswell. So if you signed up in the UK and you want to watch it on holiday abroad without a VPN it won’t let you. Netflix, Amazon, Disney+, Spotify, SkyGo are all ok but not DAZN.
I signed up to it in Poland last year then tried it in 2 other countries and it said something like “you’re outside the country of origin”. Then I deleted it as I had a 1 month trial.
I copy my post on page 409 from the opinions of DAZN Coverage thread Advice for anyone cancelling DAZN UK There is no cancel membership option in my account even though it is stated all over the terms and conditions plus FAQs in the help section. It has been removed. Do not bother with live chat as they will tell you that you are on a different membership etc and to call Sky. The good news is there is a new DAZN UK number to call and it is manned by Brits. Incredibly they answer the phone very quickly, a British voice is on the line and they provide the customer service one expects. Keep this number for future reference should anybody have subscription problems whether cancellations, duplicate payments or anything else. DAZN UK 0333 030 6000
I have double checked that DAZN have me down as unsubscribed when my annual sub ends and I have email confirmation. Based on the trustpilot feedback, I actually expect DAZN to take another annual sub and need to contact my bank for a chargeback.
That is why DAZN UK will never make money. Many good UK public citizens who have subscribed have been mugged and won't be back. The rest of the UK public will never subscribe after checking online reviews.
