    Of course he could.

He just wouldn't do it undefeated.

Upsets do happen but when you look at their respective resumes Lewis's far outclasses Fury's. I rank the guys that did beat him, McCall and Rahman higher than the likes of Chisora, Hammer, Wallin, and a maybe Whyte as well. Stylistically, there is no one i would fancy in a head to head against Lewis from Fury's resume.

Who on Fury's resume do you favor to have beaten Lewis?

No one favours McCall or Rahman to beat Lewis neither. Twice in his career he was massively upset and lost. Both times by KO.

I don't know exactly who would beat Lewis, I just know that one of them would.

Like I said, he'd carve out a greater career than Fury, he'd fight more ranked opponents than Fury, but he wouldn't do it undefeated.

Lennox would be the clear favourite for all Fury's opponents... He's just saying that Lewis was capable of being upset... and he was upset was he not? Twice.

Sure. I just don't see anyone on Fury's resume capable capable. Fury's resume is pretty weak itself.

Let's judge once he's retired for good this time. If he beats Usyk it would be a great name on his resume. But back to the point... Would you argue that Rahman is better than Wilder? I def wouldn't. I'd favour Lennox over Wilder by such a high margin but if they had fought 3 times, I wouldn't have been surprised if Wilder would have upset him once. And knowing Lennox it would've been the first fight and then Lennox would've dominated him in revenge fights showing he's the clear superior boxer like we all know he is

    Well yes.

On paper, he'd beat them all.

Wilder probably being similar level to Rahman, with three bouts he would have a reasonable chance of an upset - like Fury, Lewis would've probably taken his training lightly for the third.

I'm not saying I'd be surprised if Lewis cruised through Wilder three times with ease - and he'd be more than capable of it - just that Lewis was just as prone to laziness as Fury from time to time.

There's no way on earth Fury would go undefeated through Lennox resume - but there is a very decent chance Lennox would through Fury's.

    Similar level, in all probability.

Rahman a bit less limited technically, but not quite as quick, either.

yes if Fury was inconsistent against some of Lennox's opponents like he is in this era... He would not have been able to get away with it and would have losses for sure.

Lewis is great but WAS capable of being upset, when he wasn't fully focussed. It is a flaw of his.
However, Lewis operated consistently, at a far higher level than Fury, and for much longer. So I would pick a motivated Lennox over any of Fury's competition.
Serious question - would Fury have actually fought some of Lewis's competition at that time? I honestly think he would have tried to avoid some of the danger men. He certainly has form for it. Lewis always faced the top names of his day - or tried to. He knew what it took to build a legacy.

Rahman has much better technique than Wilder. More skilled. And a fantactic jab. I think Lewis would beat Wilder three out of three.
