Scared of Phillips but belted up a whole heap of guys better than him. More often than not in their own backyard too. But yeah, scared of Phillips. Get help man, your brain isn't functioning in a logical manner.
Spence pre crash for me takes this one, I think he’s just the all round better boxer and is a bad style match up for Kostya.
... So an eliminator five years after losing to him? You do realize that title eliminators force the champion to fight the winner, right? Why would Kostya need to be forced to avenge his loss when we know Phillips would have been game? I don't know any other supposed ATG that doesn't at least try to get their getback.
I named one for you in this thread. There are plenty of others but I’m not here to teach you about boxing. Do your own research.
@steviebruno I’ll give you a head start…Manny Pacquiao lost 8 fights. 5 of them to guys who he never rematched. Manny must have been trash, huh? Peanut.
That he did, awesome fighter. The way he did not lose his composure and go into survival mode after that terrible 1st round was very impressive.
Best I've Faced: Miguel Angel Gonzalez BEST PUNCHER Kostya Tszyu: “Kostya for his devastating way of hitting. Julio and Oscar had a respectful power. [Kostya] made me struggle on several occasions. My corner was worried and they considered stopping the fight, which happened anyway.” BEST OVERALL Tszyu: “Kostya as he beat me by KO. His explosive way of finishing off rivals. He was a Demolition Man. Chavez and De La Hoya were both very good, true idols of the people. It was a great honor to fight them.” https://www.ringtv.com/663898-best-i-faced-miguel-angel-gonzalez/
People who say Kostya Tszyu is overrated have no fkn idea. Not a fkn clue. The guy was brilliant and hit like a sledgehammer. He'd have put Errol Spence in an ambulance. KT was one of the best all time at his or any weight.
Kostya exposed all the frauds. All the big mouth trash talking, flashy Americans. Judah, Mitchell etc. Spence would have got knocked unconcious.
