Vitali didn't compete in a very deep era so its understandable his resume is lacking. There was no Usyk, Wilder, Fury, Joshua, etc available for him to fight. That's hardly his fault though. Fury arguably lost to Ngannou who had never boxed professionally before so lack of resume might not be an issue.

I agree Byrd should be in the hall of fame. Has a better CV than pretty much every HW about these days.

    Yes:

    - prime, unbeaten Vitali
    - Tua, the same age he fought Lewis but in MUCH better shape
    - old Holyfield. Old, yes, but still just beat prime Rahman and Byrd dominated him completely
    - Jameel McCline who demolished Grant and beat up Briggs and Whitaker
    - Fres Oquendo, even though the fight could go either way
    - Davarryl Williamson

And whole bunch of the wins over fringe contenders/tough journeymen like Bert Cooper, Eliser Castillo, Ross Puritty, Lionel Butler, Craig Petersen, Maurice Harris, Jimmy Thunder, Jeff Wooden, Phil Jackson, two former cruiserweight world champs Arthur Williams and Uriah Grant and others.

    Great resume actually

Usyk is the best and Manning like this.
