Fury vs Usyk OFF

He knew that he'd need 10 plumbers when Uysk had finished with him..

 

Chicken Fury will never fight Joshua or Usyk.

 

Seems unreal that this could happen two weeks out. I want to give him the benefit of the doubt but it's hard to when he's quite clearly never wanted to fight Usyk and only agreed to do so due to being shamed by the public.

Whether it happend or not in the Summer will answer the question for sure. That'll be over two years since his last mandatory though which is mental.

 

That's what I was thinking.

 

Fury was finished when he left the ring on 9 October 2021 after Wilder 3.

Since then he has faced Plodder Whyte, Plodder Chisora and a novice.

 

Now down to 10,001 in my heavyweight rankings just ahead of Wilder.

 

Ring rust will be the summer excuse. Tune up needed.

 

That's really, really, really annoying. It was almost too good to be true that this fight was so close… now this.

If he'd somehow gone ahead and boxed with that, only for it to open up quickly and cause a technical draw, he'd have been called a fraud, like Liam Smith was for the Eubank rematch. Better to pull out now and give Usyk a chance to box on the same date.

 

My thoughts exactly, especially if Usyk fights. He’ll want a tune up and wait for Usyk to age another year

 

Got to be stripped for me now as a big list of contenders waiting to challenge for the belts who actually want to fight.

 

What a farce

 

Would be very happy to see Usyk Hrgovic as a replacement tbh. Fair play to Usyk for wanting to take on a challenge still.

If that fight happens then Usyk would have fought more HW title mandatories in 6 months than Fury has in his entire career. Let that sink in a minute
