Oleksandr Usyk vs Filip Hrgovic is reportedly now being explored for Feb 17th after Tyson Fury fight was postponed. Source - Michael Benson on Twitter/X.

Still quite frustrated but at the same time not too surprised that Fury V Usyk got cancelled.

Usyk V Hrgovic is a solid fight, but I back an Usyk points win by 9 to 3 rounds. Although, the way boxing works is that Hrgovic will end up beating Usyk lol.

I think Usyk wins a 7-5 or 8-4 decision. I think Usyk is slowing down a bit and Hrgovic may target the body with more aggression and precision than Dubois. So I expect it to be closer.

It will be interesting to see how Hrgovic and AJ compare against Usyk for me.

Well it solves the IBF mandatory. Credit to Usyk if he takes it, rumours are he’s had a great camp so why not.

    Usyk is the man.

If he fights Hrgovic, Fury, Zhang then AJ

He'll probably keep all his belts and will absolutely go down as an ATG.

Love the fact the mandatory challenges are actually high risk fighters as well.

Won't be for undisputed now so who cares, yawn. Probably another year we'll have to wait.

Hrgovic vs Usyk is a good fight.

Fury is craven. He was never going to fight Usyk - let's not forget, he avoided him all last year.

Hrgovic is very good opponent. And dirty as hell. But in this case he would hardly be effective with his rabbit punching, as Usyk isn't a stationary target.

I’m down with this. Hrgovic had a very easy fight in December. Turns out that was a blessing in disguise.

You know if Usyk fights Hrgovic this month, then Fury will want a tune up fight in the summer claiming that he hasn’t defended his title since 2022

Yep, it will be at least another year down the line if the fight ever happens.

Not at all thrilled the Fury fight got postponed, but I'd be happy if this fight happened in its placd. Keeps Usyk active and gets one step closer to my personal dark horse dream fight, Usyk-Zhang. Then again, Zhang would be next in line if the cards had swung his way against Hrgovic, so this might just be a double dose of disappointment actually

Nah, jokes aside, this is a good fight. Got Usyk by a wide points victory, hope it gets made so he doesn't have to waste a training camp :ggg
