Maybe for the money. He might have got a little extra for tailoring that cut so perfectly while fury stood still with his eyes closed.
Looks like an elbow to the chin on that slowed down video. You even see his jawline move with the elbow strike. No way that connected just below the eyebrow. This apparent cut above the eye seems very convenient
The reason for using helmets while sparring is not to avoid the KO, it is to avoid cuts. It is incredibly difficult to get a cut if you are using a sparring helmet. ****ing difficult. Especially with those new helmets that fully cover all the head completely. If he was sparring without helmet then he's a ****** and should pay Usyk a fee to compensate him. Especially if you do it so close to the fight night.
Everybody and his mom thought like Porter. How many threads have been posted in this forum talking about "this fight wont happen"? Everey****ingbody knew that. This content is protected
Now because of this POS Fury, the whole undercard is f'd No Opetaia vs Briedis 2 which might instead be rescheduled to AJ vs Ngannou card (if that card isn't already filled out) or even somewhere further down the line further wasting Jai's time as well as Briedis (who is coming off a long lay off to begin with) Due to this piece of garbage, others also have to suffer. Jai is in his prime & was finally getting some momentum going after those injuries & lay offs & pull outs by Masternak, Riakporhe, & IBF's shenanigans about stripping him. I was really looking forward to the rematch against Briedis
Fury IS a Furry Axe Wound! Knew something like this would happen, was never confident of seeing them in the ring, but damn does it suck! Just watched Usyk v Huck last night and was starting to get in the zone for this, especially after the promo and the gazillions they must have spent on it, I started to believe it might actually come to pass... ..but no Always trust your gut!
Yeah it's not just Porter. Paulie Malignaggi also mention that he think Fury is essentially ducking Usyk, and also mention the Klitschko rematch duck.
I'm disappointed. I was going to place a very large wager on Usyk, as Fury shouldn't have been favored. Now it probably never happens.
