Why look forward to something that's never going to happen?

So someone slit Fury's eye so he couldn't fight, did they? :eaea:

Not even Eddie Hearn is buying the conspiracy theory :eusa_dance:

I’ve totally lost interest in Tyson Fury.

I’m still interested in seeing Usyk match his skills against any of Hrgovic, Zhang, Parker or even Joyce or AJ again. These bouts are all worthwhile. **** Tyson Fury.

At this point, I really can’t be bothered anymore, regardless of how Fury got cut. He’s strung the fans along for months on end and now when it’s time to fight he gets injured.

To be honest it is just frustrating to wait months, when the fight was so close

Let Fury go and fight that other fairy who is also picking easy matches in the summer, while Usyk fights whoever he wants

It's sad that if Fury signed to fight Joshua it would be 100x bigger than usyk and nobody would care about Usyk.

Usyk has the right to wait it out if he wants, but I doubt he will do that.

If Joshua beats Ngannou I think he fights Fury in July. If that happens? I am done with the sport.

    Yes and no.

Usyks already beaten the most proven of this era twice - it's clear he's the man at heavy right now.

On one level it'd be nice to have an undisputed champ again... On the other, Usyk is a latecomer to the division and whilst excellent, such a short campaign lacking that final accolade isn't the end of the world.

As usual it's the WBC belt causing all the problems - the WBC tolerates weak, ducking champions and allows it's belt to be held hostage.

Had the WBC not allowed Wilder to duck Whyte and Povetkin he'd have lost to one of them (whichever got to him first, most likely) and they'd have taken the undisputed fight with Joshua at the earliest opportunity... And one way or another, we'd have already had an undisputed champ.

As far as seeing Usyk fight Fury, it's already abundantly clear that Usyk is levels beyond anyone Fury's beaten since his return - whether he's capable of it (if he ever was) is besides the point if he's too cowardly to try...
And let's be honest, nobody has had the slightest concern that Usyk might pull out whilst many have suspected Fury would find an excuse - and he has.

He should beat him as he will put his heart and soul into it, but he is a vulnerable man and francis is the exact opposite

I have a bad feeling Warren and Eddie will be working hard behind the scenes to make Aj/fury for the summer, then the winner fights usyk for belts

Do you think these guys really care about belts? Lol

I used to think Joshua cared, but he is also chasing the money and handpicked opponents. He chose Ngannou instead of fighting for the IBF title

Whole sport is filled with snakes. Although I picked Fury to win, I do feel bad for Usyk. His career has been put on hold enough.

He has a claim to bee the best fighter in the entire sport, yet nobody cares about him bar the hardcore fans. He won't draw flies outside of Aj, Fury and Wilder to a lesser degree

Sucks for him, but it is the way it is.

I don't think Fury will fight AJ either. It's as risky as Usyk fight for Fury.
