Have to say I quite like Wardley, seems to know his own mind without being a knob.

Not comparing him to quality with Yarde. More matchmaking, constantly put in with overmatched opponents and then when take the leap find out you don't have the necessary experience to deal with things when it gets tough.

Yarde did well V Beterbiev, nearly stopped Kovalev, avenged Arthur after a poor display in fight 1. He has some natural talent but didn't give himself the best chances by not having the experience to fall back on when it got tough.

As much as berk Whitaker is, he does have a natural talent for the sport but you need more than that and letting his ego get out of control by matching him easy won't do the lad any favours.

He's 26 and an olympic silver medalist, bronze at worlds, he certainly hasn't needed to spend three years on journeymen.

I actually quite like Wardley, I think he's talented and gutsy, and some of the things he said to Frazer were actually on point.
