He was the complete opposite of Buatsi.

No respect for his opponent even though they put on a great fight for 12 rounds, he claimed his opponent was in survival mode or he would have knocked him out and he blamed the unjustified drug issues at the back of his mind affecting his performance.

 

Really enjoyed that fight well done to both fighters

I don’t agree with the knockdowns (SLIPS!)… I feel the ref has to use common sense in these situations.

Good to see the respect between the two at the end.

The KDs were definitely correctly scored because they came from punches landed but yes, also due to a lack of balance/slip. The first one in particular. Second one was a bonafide KD.

Proper good fight. Real old school boxing, lots of slipping punches, jabs, they hardly clinched. Watched it live and well worth the £40 ticket. Wish them both well in their careers.

 

Just got home from the show. Great night and a cracking atmosphere for the main event.

Best fight ive seen live for some time, it might not of been the greatest technically but that was a proper tear up, both men showed great heart, never stepped back and just traded blows. Was great to see the respect shown to each other at the end. Standing ovation from the crowd at the start of the 12th said it all - pure entertainment.

£8.95 a pint in the arena was the only thing to spoil the night! When did pints suddenly go up by 3 quid - scandalous!

 

The contrast between Buatsi and Connor Henn at the end of the fights was simply off the scale.

Whether I rate Buatsi or like his style, I hope he does well as he is a genuine top man who genuinely respected and appreciated the efforts of his opponent. The Henn fight was similar but the spoiled little rat known as Connor Henn showed in his post fight actions and interview that he deserves pain and plenty of it.

Loved Nigel Benn but I really hope this little shyte gets fooking wiped out beyond repair.
