Benn fails drug test

I hope people can resist the temptation to get dragged in should Hearn succeed in matching Benn with one of the divisions leading lights. There's multiple reasons why he doesn't deserve to be sharing a ring with the likes of Davis, but the main one is still the most important, especially given the tragedy in Japan recently.

 

Tell us something we don’t know.

 

Broner and Davis calling him out, would love to see him fight Broner, think that's a good fight. Davis despite being the much much smaller man would knock Benn out.

I just want Benn to have an injury that stops him fighting again, he doesn't deserve a payday, and hearn deserves to lose a packet on him.

 

Yeah but wouldn't it be nice for him to lose first otherwise we'd be hearing "Retired undefeated Koogs!" for the rest of our days

I get Gervonta would be getting a huge payday but he makes great money regardless and would rather see him fighting people at his level.

 

Hopefully he's asking for 140 lbs with a 5 lb rehydration clause.

 

Think that would make it funnier, unless he doesn't have a big payday and gets beaten by a Peter Dobson type, but if not I just want him to not get any cash

 

It's probably at 150, with no drug testing and Benn getting 90% of the purse. Then when it gets rejected Hearn and Benn can claim Davis didn't fancy it.

 

It's hilarious seeing Benn having a go at Devin Haney for being feather fisted and not knocking anybody out for ages when his last seven opponents have been Prograis, Lomachenko, Kambosos x2, Diaz, Linares and Gamboa.

It gets even funnier when you look at his record before that and see he actually had a pretty decent amount of stoppages with a 70% KO ratio. Which is 10% higher than Benn's who hasn't even fought a top ranked domestic rival.

 

He's gotta fight someone in the top 200 first,

 

Eddie Hearn in an interview today and he was asked about a comment somebody made about Benn having no power since being off the eggs.
Hearn then says Benn doesn’t have 1 punch power as most of his stoppages aside from Algeiri have been through an accumulation of shots.
So even Hearn now has changed his tune on the wrecking ball killer Benn.
