Haney or Shakur does that and not a single one of them would be making a case for Teofimo winning and they would be screaming robbery from the rooftops. Corruption central over there and they keep giving known corrupt as hell refs and judges the gig over and over again who will rob the foreigner almost everytime, especially in these kind of fights, or rob the B side if they're both from over there.

I think it should have been a draw or the ref should have called a no contest ... Ortiz was like a marathon runner not a boxer

A no contest? Why, it went 12 rounds and Ortiz stayed on his gameplan. This is boxing, not every fight is Hagler-Hearns.

I believe you're being honest. But running is not defense.

Had Ortiz landed significantly more punches than Lopez, or landed more power punches than Lopez I would agree. But Ortiz just made Lopez look bad, he didn't do enough to become lineal champion.

Terrible fight. I never want to see Ortiz fight again. He was gross.

He landed about the same amount as Lopez. And you don't think that was stinking out the joint? It's fine if you think Ortiz won, I thought a 7-5 scorecard for him would have been a good card but you enjoyed watching that for 12 rounds? I sure as **** didn't and there is blame to go around for both sides since Lopez also was ****ing clueless on cutting off the ring.

It wasnt that close of a fight. Giving Lopez a draw is a stretch.

Ortíz is a good fighter. What’s unfortunate for him is that type of fight is gonna make it less likely he gets another big one. He’s a high risk challenger that is willing to make you look bad to win.

Because Lopez could have stood still and still won rounds in there,it was awful by Ortiz..the ref should have warned him in middle rounds...I thought Ortiz was gonna run for a few rounds then start to engage and win some rounds but he just ran away like the roadrunner

Ortiz was hardly throwing.. Lopez was hardly landing. Surely we saw the same fight.

Ortiz was not landing anything more than pitty pat punches. He landed like five good punches the entire 12 rounds.

Yet Shakur did the same goddamn thing against De Los Santos only less convincingly, and no one bitched and moaned when he got the W.

No, the man who consistently outlands his opponent in the majority of rounds (10), should always win the fight, especially when his opponent was completely clueless on the front foot and was falling short with virtually everything. Decisions, including official scores, should never be handled by a referee. Nor was this some egregious example of cowardice and running.

This is nothing but a sly attempt at damage control from the Teomosexuals.

Look at punchstat. One fighter couldn't land, the other puncher didn't want to land.
