Jofre vs Caraballo is terribly filmed.
Many of the early Jofre (or many south american fights) fights like the Ruben Cáceres fight, it should be a better quality, it was not the 20s anymore ffs... but hey, USA was ahead even in that I suppose, compare that with the quality of the Rocky Marciano, Floyd Patterson fights...

    Ingemar johansson fights in Sweden.
It wasn’t great in his win against Eddie Machen but the footage in his knockouts against Henry Cooper and Dick Richardson I can only assume the camera operator nodded off.

The Richardson fight was shown live on ITV on a Sunday, early evening. Don’t know about Cooper, but fairly sure his stoppage of Joe Erskine was live on the BBC.
These may be in their archives, but under these channels non - boxing, by and large, policies, unlikely ever to surface.
    Chances are they’re gone.

Thanks for that you’ve just confirmed what I thought I’d remembered about the Richardson fight that it was on a Sunday afternoon and I saw it live.
The footage of the Cooper fight I’ve seen only lasts 50 odd seconds.
    Very frustrating!

Yes, late afternoon, a very sunny day, we came back early, from the great outdoors to watch it. My father couldn’t stand Richardson, the billy goat, who resorted to butting every time he was losing.
His inexplicable one round knockout of Mildenberger, caused us to pause, considering Johansson’s damaging losses to Floyd.
Ingo, however, allayed any fears, outclassing and despatching Dick,
face first, for the full count. Bingo!

I remember back in the video tape trading/buying days there was a Japanese version of Quarry-Shavers that would pop up and you’d be doing well to figure out which was which.

That wasn’t infrequent with ‘rare’ fights (at the time) — you’d finally find it and it was crap.

There was also at least one guy who wanted to own the only complete version of some fight or another and you’d get a 15-round fight with no 14th round and the 13th twice to occupy the spot. Talk about being cheated.

Yes it was a devastating knockout.
