I wouldn't pick it at this stage. But he's capable. Misleading thread title yeah I know. So what. Anyway Teo beat Loma GKJ beat Teo Haney beat GJB Loma beat Haney It happens all the time. Upsets. X, Y and Z beats A,B, and C etc. Just because Tank whiped the floor with him doesn't mean Haney will. How many upsets are there in boxing? Fighters sometimes split a pair of meetings. JMM knocked out Pac and should have got one or two more according to many. Duran, SRL, Hearns, Hagler, Holyfield, Bowe, you know? Rahman Knocked the **** out of LL and got the same fate returned to him in the 2nd meeting. Anything can happen. Don't count out KingRy after one defeat. It is Boxing after all.
Haney is the favorite but one clean power shot from Garcia on Haney’s fragile chin could change everything.
He could win the fight but lose on the cards. Garcia is not 1/10th the boxer Loma is and all Haney has to do is avoid that left hook Haney UD
If Ryan comes in and tries to box with Devin he is going to get picked apart. Now if Ryan comes out swinging he does have the speed to get to Devin and I really do not think Devin has a good chin. The problem is Ryan might not have a good chin as well so Devin might catch him because Devin is fast as well.
I like Ryan a lot more than I like Haney but unfortunately I just can’t pick him to win. He’s too limited His press conference with Tank said it all; Ryan said, “I got a nice left hook” Tank replied, “yeah and what else?” Then Ryan was stumped for words, and it showed in their fight. Ryan’s straight right is ok but he’s mainly just looking to land the left hook over and over, that’s too limited to beat Haney unfortunately He has a puncher’s chance but that’s it
This. Garcia is good at hyping fights, but he’s a level below the elite fighters. After a couple of rounds Haney will have Garcia completely figured out.
If Ryan lands that snappy left hook on Haney he could end him. But that’s the only punch he has that could hurt Haney.
I don't see it. Literally all Haney has to do is keep his hands up, ala Winky Wright or Ike Quartey circle away from Ryan's left and take a decision.
He has a punchers chance but that’s really all he has honestly. He would have to mount a sustained attack like Loma did but the problem is that he doesn’t have Loma’s footwork or ring IQ to make it competitive.
