Big statement from sheeraz with that ko. Williams been in with some decent fighters but unable to cope with the speed of sheeraz

Can’t believe Lockett is getting it in here. He was completely right to stop that fight. A lot of you forgetting that he was in the corner for Blackwell in the Eubank fight… He knows his fighter.

This is surely a Queensbury burner account because I expect to see this kind of thing from Dev Sahni on his Twitter. Williams wouldn't have been able to cope with anyone tonight, he's completely done.

Funny, he didn't know his fighter with Blackwell.

Agreed but a bit of a harsh take. That was a British title fight. Big fight on mainstream tv here in the UK. Lockett will have learned his lessons from it and saw his fighter get hurt by the first punch tonight, floored multiple times in round one. Cannot argue with the towel at all.

Hamzah ready for the world title shot this year ...the guy is a monster at 160lbs ...and believe me he will be even more dangerous at 168lbs ..

Hamzah will soon be mandatory for the WBC 160lbs title which is being held hostage by Carlo ..

I can, considering Liam did the same thing against Eubank and Andrade. He didn't react well at all, to any of the shots he was dropped with, or the follow ups. Lockett because of the Blackwell fight, has now become a scared overly cautious trainer. Liam was in with Sheeraz, not ****ing Beterbiev.

Sad to see this tonight. Enjoyed following Williams career but his punch resistance has left him now, he needs to call it a day.

What do you base that on? He hasnt shown any signs of greatness and he hasnt fought anybody that fights back. His best win was an already well past it Bradley Skeete. Even then it took him 9 rounds to stop him. C level fighters like Diego Ramirez and Kerman Lejarraga had already finished off a much better version of Skeete in 3 rounds or less

I'm not a fan of Sheeraz so I would love to see him thrown in at world level and exposed. He has never been tested against a genuine puncher; whilst Williams can crack, as we saw he was shot to bits and dispatched in a round. If Warren has any interest in building Sheeraz's career then he should build up slowly to a world title shot in a few years; otherwise he could go the way of Anthony Yarde, fluctuating between knocking out no hopers before stepping up to a world title shot he is woefully unprepared for.

First off that Bradley fight was quite a while back , and it was clear that Hamzah was struggling to make 154lbs .. I don't even know how he makes 160lbs now lol straight after that fight he moved up.. now Hamzah haters keep using 1 bad performance against him..

The guy is ready for anyone at 160lbs ..anyone.. just watch and see .. his fundamentals are the key ...the jab is the key, the range control is the key . He can even mix it up on the inside .. the 160lbs division he not stacked with talent .. Boxrec now rank Hamzah No.4 in the world just behind Carlo ..

I think the 160lbs division is there for Hamzah to get a world title at least .. name them Hamzah has a good chance of beating any of the title holders right now ...I think Frank will get him a shot by end of the year ...
