Tbh I was at the first Smith fight and he absolutely schooled Smith.

Completely out classed him.

He was a domestic level fighter and no shame in that. One of his problems is that he’s clearly a bit unhinged, a bit of a lunatic and you can see it in his fights. Always thought he was better than he was. That said, was shafted in the first Smith fight.

 

True story (I’m full of them tonight) - I was at the breakfast buffet with Williams the day after that fight since we stayed at the same hotel. And then Jeremy Corbyn joined us!

I’ve enjoyed following Liam Williams career and this was sad to see tonight.

His punch resistance has gone. He needs to now call it a day on a good career.

 

Amusing that Williams appeared to have a bodyguard but old Jez just walked around doing selfies no problem. And looked in better nick too.

You'd have thought they'd have noticed Williams was done during training. He's absolutely **** at this point with whiskers that make Amir Khan look like Marvin Hagler.
