Back then, those who came up with heliocentric theory let alone the globe, had to present their findings and convince others of their conclusions. Some accepted their conclusions, others challenged them. But back then no one could know for sure. Now we have knowledge based on the testimony of those involved with the space program, but there's always gonna be skeptics, given how much revenue is generated by that entity. I don't have any issue with you believing what they tell us about it, especially with there being a certain amount of pride with NASA being an American institution, but there's always gonna be skeptics when you're dealing with institutions that are out of the public's purview. I'm taking a very neutral stance on this. I'm saying, look, I'm not convinced it's flat, not by a long shot, but I'm also not convinced of the globe either. I see it as a possible deception. The extent of that deception, there's no way to know for sure. I've seen enough problems with each theory to give me pause and to not be comfortable to jumping to either conclusion.

It works both ways. There's a lack of critical thinking involved in solely taking NASA's word for it, believing what they tell us hook line and sinker with no way to verify what they're saying. On the other hand, it's easy to poke holes in the establishment without doing the work yourself. And again, this is why I remain skeptical of the globe while also trying to keep my distance from flat earthers as well.

Well I never felt the need to defend flat earth because that's not what's on trial here. Those who conclude that the earth is flat is because they don't believe that the globe is real. It's either one or the other. If you don't believe in the globe, then it's gotta be flat. The ground beneath our feet is in fact flat. That's our experience. Believing that it starts to curve away from us far off into the distance but being unable to observe or calculate that in any discernible way is the problem with it. Believing in the globe does not require critical thinking but rather involves an appeal to authority (NASA) and just taking all of what they tell us at face value. You can say they did calculations, or they do all this space stuff, but we have no way to know any of that is real. That could just be another deception, like we saw during covid.

But resist the temptation to label me a flat earther, or Froch, or AJ Styles, or anyone who explores this topic, simply for recognizing the predicament, and being open to possible deceptions. It doesn't mean we're sure of anything, it's just being inquisitive about what goes on behind the scenes, in an effort to make sense of the world we live in.

And the easiest way to prove this is by asking a simple question - what is the furtherst city to the east? And to the west?

In a so-called flat earth, there would by necessity be a furthest point in each direction. The inability for a "flat earth advocate" to answer that question destroys the entire "belief system".

Likewise when only the top portion of a ship is visible on the horizon. Where is the bottom of the ship in scenario and where is the ship itself for that matter? Is it hovering in mid air beyond the edge of the earth. Would love to hear Carl Froch explain that one.

The reason why so many conspiracy theorists belive in Aliens are because they believe in the globe, space, planets. Due to what we're told about how the universe is endless, ever expanding, this leads people to think that other intelligent life must be out there if all of that is true.

The camera would have to be in an elevated position or the bottom of the ship simply isn't there to see. It is obscured by the horizon.

People can't see around corners. It's that simple.
