This is a joke from someone who used to despise GGG, to the point where you were obsessed with creating endless threads to denigrate him.

It's just amazing how they keep moving goalposts, isn't it?

"If he doesn't fight Benavidez in 2024, I will call it a duck" has now become, "he should fight him in 2025".

In 2025, the "twilight of his career" angle will gain greater traction, and they will openly question why Benavidez wants to fight an old fighter.

It's impossible to have a serious discussion here.

Canelo going up was him fighting people closer to his natural weight and size. Not everyone could afford the medical team to get Canelo through his insane cuts when he was bullying midgets before the time he got busted for clenbuterol which helps shift ridiculous weight lol. GGG is not a big middleweight even kell brook the WW walked around heavier than GGG. He just fought his own natural weight not cutting to pick on smaller people etc. if Canelo done the same he would of fought majority of his career at 168+

He's rightfully chasing the division's best fighter.

We can't start calling him a 5'7 fighter, implying that he's small, when he's the undisputed SMW champion who's fought at LHW.

The difference between Canelo's resume and Golovkin's resume are night and day.

Challenging fighters in a higher weight division when you're smaller is not the same thing with chasing smaller fighters in a lower weight division when you're bigger than the fighters in that division.

If Canelo challenges and fights boxers who are bigger than him, he deserves all the credit and should be praised.

If Benavidez, however, is chasing guys who are smaller and naturally weaker than him, then he is a bully. It doesn't matter if he makes weight or not. He's clearly using his size and power advantage over smaller guys. Why doesn't he want to fight Morrell? He's in same weight division and has similar size?

Same people who praises Benavidez, accuses David Haney for being a weight bully, although he makes weight in all his fights. Double standard for sure.

Is it impossible for a smaller man to beat a bigger man. Do you think?

Canelo said he plans to fight on for "at least" another 5 years. If that's true, then he still has a ways to go in his career.

Canelo has ten times the balls GGG has. That's just a fact proven by their records. GGG could have gone up and fought Ward, but he didn't want to test himself. He knew he'd get embarrassed.

GTFO here.... how some of you don't understand that when you are a cash cow, you get any fight you want. You make the demands and get your advantages. Most boxers are more in line w/ 3G's position than they were with someone like Canelo. 3G fought his mandatories when he had to to chase undisputed. Money men like Canelo can avoid a mandatory and nothing happens. Don't be a casual...or at least sound like one. You've been here too long for that.

WHen should that have happened? Around what time period? When Ward was out for nearly two years? Or when he returned as a LtHW not being able to make 168?

Canelo doing everything in his power to avoid a live dog at 168. Since being beaten by Bivol, he’s fought a solid but unspectacular Ryder, a guy two weight divisions smaller, and a cooked 160 pound fighter. The fact he’s about to fight another cooked 160 pound fighter instead of facing a decent contender is indicative of the state of the sport. Benavidez is the obvious opponent, Canelo is blatantly ducking.

The day you starting excusing blatant ducking is the day you are no longer a fan but just a classic fanboy.

Heard this all before. When May comes around next year Canelo will find someone else to fight, and the division will once again be held up.

10 times the balls yet vacated to duck the guy who has 10 times less balls because he wasn’t old enough?
