Unbiased opinions please It would be a hell of a fight. Aaron Pryor was an absolute wrecking machine. Mad as hell too.
I see Kostya surviving some early scares and eventually getting that big right home by the 7th or 8th. Aaron gets up but then gets finished on the ropes. Tszyu by TKO in 8
Pryor looking back was very overated. Best wins against a blown up Alexis Arguello isn't very impressive
Good fight between two very overrated fighters. Kostya has too much quit in him, though, so I pick Pryor here. Too relentless.
Great fight, but I think Pryor would be too much for Tszyu with his relentless onslaught and would brush off Tszyu's best shots. Tszyu couldn't seem to handle the bullying style of Vince Phillips or Ricky Hatton. Pryor would give Tszyu the same kind of hell.
I agree , Tszyu had no physical advantages over Pryor,,Kosta was 5'7' and Pryor was 5'6' with similar reach. Hawk's speed would be a big factor as well. Be a great fight.
Another factor about Pryor was his never ending cardio and his erratic tactics. He can swarm and then quickly switch to boxing whenever he needed to. Pryor had his flaws and could be overly reckless but he was a hard fighter to deal with and would give a lot of fighters at 140 a tough fight.
Utterly ridiculous post. Only a moron holds this opinion of both fighters. Kostya never quit a fight. Not once. Both his losses were late and were stopped by his corner when he was taking too much punishment. Both guys are comfortably top 5 all time at 140. It’s a helluva fight.
Tszyu and Pryor overrated... fk I've read some rubbish on here but that's up there with the worst of it GTFOH...
