His Excellency Rummy with another excellent video. However, your conclusion is incorrect. AJ's fragile mental state has been puffed up by winning three fights against deficient opposition, which has been Eddie H's plan all along. He will fold up like an accordion once he gets hit by Francis, whose boxing skills have been improving under Mike Tyson's tutelage. Ngannou will KO AJ in the later rounds. Look for another post fight rant by the unstable AJ.
I agree, a points win for AJ is probably the safe prediction but I think he'll clip Ngannou with a right hand in the 5th stopping him.
I don't think he hurt him that much there was never a point where I thought fury was in danger of being stopped. Fury didn't seem to take him seriously. He showed up fat and touched gloves with him after the knockdown not something he did with Wilder. Mentally it appeared to me that Fury treated it like an exhibition and didn't have the championship fight mindset and it showed I don't expect AJ who is no longer champion and fighting to preserve a chance at Undisputed to take it easy vs Francis and blow his shot Maybe Francis can prove me wrong
If Ngannou lands clean it's goodnight Vienna for AJ I think. Ngannou's tail is up for this, even in his loss to pork belly slice, Ngannou's quiet and sensible confidence is high, he truly believes he can do it. He knows he's in for a very decent shout here and I quite fancy him to pull off a not so surprising upset. I'm quite looking forward to this.
AJ is going to get KO'd flat This is the first time he's ever fought someone who is bigger & much stronger than him. And who is a legit puncher. Not old man Wlad. Boxfit Ben is going to make him fight scared off the jab and Predator Francis is going to laser eye him.
I think that is a very sound statement and a very good observation. I agree to a curtain extent, but I don't think it would be easy to bribe Ngannou out of the picture.
If Ngannou beats AJ, he could possibly make an insane amount of money, hence my comment on why I somewhat doubt NG will accept to be sidetracked.
Another great analysis Rummy, but i would not be surprised should Francis land one cleanly and hard on AJs chin, he gets the win. I for one would certainly not rule it out.
Francis is taking him to pound town. I bet all my eggs on it. Fury is so war torn he didn't think anything of the brutal power but you could see how marked up he was. AJ will feel it once and totally fight within himself and gets slapped around the ring by a legitimate fighter. Not a manufactured one. Wouldn't be surprised if this fight gets called off actually.
Joshua W KO10 after a war. Ngannou will force Joshua to fight. Ngannou can win if he tags Joshua hard and early.
I think the KD was a bit harder than just a flash - Fury slowly arose at about 4-5 I think, but then the action wasn’t waved back on until a full 23 seconds after the moment Fury’s *** first hit the canvas. 23 seconds - exactly the same amount of time that was afforded to Fury after suffering the KD by Wilder. What’s up with that? Ngannou can certainly punch hard but was then KD left really the best example of that power? Some substantive deterioration in Fury’s resilience might’ve been masked by the assumed/implied power of that particular punch. Fury might not have been in the best of shape but he wasn’t allowed to periodically rest as he might’ve done usually either. He couldn’t hug, wrestle or lay on Francis..so that would’ve tapped Fury’s stamina more than usual. I’d expect Francis’ own stamina to be even better for his second pro fight, Fury was his first ever pro fight after all and he jumped right into a 10 rounder. Tbh, at the time, I thought Francis appeared gassed just from the warm up in his dressing room - lol - once the fight started however, it was apparent that he wasn’t as badly off as I first feared. After fighting Fury over 10 rounds, Francis will also now know himself that much better in regards to his stamina and possibly increase his output accordingly. If he had more fuel in the tank or chanced his arm more, for better or worse, he might well have seen Fury off. He had Tyson clearly hurt on multiple occasions but was mindful not to deplete the fuel reserved for lasting the distance. So, as it was, his output was very considerate and metered - balancing performance with the objective to see the final bell. On the flip side, Fury didn’t necessarily put great demands on Ngannou’s stamina either - I suspect Francis will be required to work that much harder against AJ. Gotta say, though he’s taking moderate steps back, I’m impressed by AJ’s comeback. I thought he was totally gone tbh and I’m not sure that he couldn’t get over the top of Fury also. Also, ALL credit to AJ for providing a clean and open fights vs Usyk, which allowed for proof that the better skilled, smaller man can defeat his SHW sized opponent. IF AJ was disposed to and inclined more to non boxing (or should I say, less than pure) related tactics, as Fury is, Usyk might not have necessarily secured the victories that he did - and, tbh. AJ also did that bit better second time around against Olek. Gotta favour AJ on paper but it’s still an extremely intriguing match up nonetheless. And yeah, Francis might want to look to land a bomb early in the hope that it might cause AJ to shell up somewhat. In fact, without being too reckless, landing a “see what I got”‘punch is something that Ngannou should prioritise. Well worth the investment and potential yield - as we saw against a consequentially, that much more leery and reluctant Fury.
Wrong fight and too late. Fury - Olek has already been postponed as per overwhelmingly aligned predictions. There’s no one named Fury participating in this fight…so it will go ahead. Rest easy boxing fans. I underhand you need Francis to destroy AJ in order to vindicate Fury - but it sounds like that’s the only basis for your prediction (desired outcome?). I might want Francis to win, but the possibility of it reinstating or even raising Fury’s stocks makes me ambivalent about that choice.
Beating Fury already got him the insane amount of money. He made 10 million for Fury, and it's reported he's getting 20 million for AJ. Yeah, if he beats AJ it'll grow further of course, may damn near demand a 50/50 for a Fury rematch.
