Beaten a few good names but they were all past it (Alvarado, Jo-Jo, Gesta) or green/unready (Tanajara, who's actually the same age Zepeda is).

 

Eric Mario Tudor vs. Luis Gerardo Caraballo Ramos, 8 rounds @ super welterweight

 

Alright, the Puerto Rican, nicknamed Corazón De Oro (Heart of Gold), is a glass cannon - all wins & losses by KO. So assuming Tudor is better than his brother (or packing glass - either way!) this one might be over with quickly so we can get onto the main event and not be hurting for work in the morning.

 

Four years older than his dopey sibling from the opener. (lucky to escape with a draw in his pro debut)

 

Tudor had an extensive amateur background on the USA scene but...nothing really compelling about it. Lost close decisions to Vito Mielnicki Jr., Floyd Schofield and Jeremy Adorno.

 

Almost as boring as Sasha's first round. Tudor running around floating a a light jab.

 

Eric showing more dimensions, experimenting here and there, scoring a curveball right past the guard behind a lulling jab etc - but still overly tentative, giving Caraballo lots of respect.

Of course, the boricua despite being 1½" shorter does have a KO rep and big frame to boot - he actually has fought at LHW!

 

I really hope this doesn't go the full scheduled eight..

 

Tudor boys aren't exactly doing the legacies of Adrian Diaconu et al proud tonight...
