Reliving the glory of his win over Tevin Farmer - my brother, that was MORE THAN FOUR YEARS AGO.

    Pre-Covid.

After that line of bull****, and parade of excuses, when it is finally going to dawn on this clown that he's just an average fighter, and not as special as he seems to think he is.

Diaz is so damn inconsistent I wouldn't be surprised if he lost this one too.

You missed like...one good KO1, and you can always skip to it later; I can tell you exactly where (38 minutes into the YT feed)

Plus maybe a round-and-change of good action in Chávez vs. Olguín...

Perez was fearless against big punchers like Rocha and Norman and was pushing them back throughout up at Welterweight. If he isn't drained, and rehydrated up well, he shouldn't have much of a problem dictating the pace tonight.

    Round 1

Díaz is having a look at Pérez, holding out right forearm vertically, parrying with it. Showing a jab feint but not pulling trigger. Pérez is ducking in, looking for jabs and 1-2's on the chest. Díaz hit with a body shot, right uppercut, and responds with a cuffing right hook up top. They swap hooks downstairs at mid-range, then close in. Pérez gets the best of the close-quarters stuff and Díaz disengages. Flurry by Pérez. Left jabs by Pérez, caught on Díaz's right palm. Díaz blocks a line drive right hand. Díaz just leaning in, putting his full body weight over his lead foot and crowding. Both miss a few shots.

    10-9 Pérez, cagey round

He's a got a solid chin, but you never know. Perez is pressing the attack on Diaz.
