It's all good man, I enjoy the banter that's what fight fans do since forever. Just throwing my opinions into the wind like everyone else. My only real point is I've come to accept that we can't expect Canelo to operate like normal fighters, hell even other star fighters are forced to. He's pretty stubborn in that sense. The debate will circle around and start again sooner or later hopefully about the matchup instead of making the fight lol.

@sdot_thadon @The Real Lance no need to argue so long. Canelo knocks out Benavidez easily anyway.

Benavidez is not in the same caliber as Canelo. When Canelo knocks him out, people will start saying "Canelo is avoiding Morrell", after that they will say "Canelo is scared of Munguia", then Janibek.

    There's no eaily about it.

And no, would unlikley KO him easily. You have nothing to base that on, despite sayiong Canelo is too SHORT for him. But that's not how it goes. Morrell is terribly unproven at 168. He's barely on the radar even with his ranking. 168 is NOT deep, and he's fought what, 10 times?

Munguia is barely tested at 168 as well. Ryder just retired, and Devrevyenchenko, his other win at 168, was a career MW.

NEITHER are in the same boat as Benavidez.

But my friend the sad fact is people will still pay though the nose for the garbage so called PPV's. They bought Floyd's dancing lessons, Gingers con jobs knowing he wouldn't be allowed to lose. Until he met his Daddy, Dmitry Bivol, who gave him the beating & the lesson he'd deserved since he chickened out against GGG. ROFL
While people buy these ridiculous money grabs totally amazes me. Then they pee & moan about it LOL. One thing is obvious to me They are NOT true boxing fans because what theyre doing is helping the con artists destroy the greatest sport in the world

No, if Canelo wins, it's his best win at 168 and always would have been since he moved up to the division. So why won't Canelo fight him? Benavidiez did as much or more than the rest of the guys he fought at 168.

Both Floyd & Canelo avoided all the dangerous fighters that they were literally Scared to Death of & even the semi great ones they did fight had the deck stacked so high against them they had no chance of ever getting a win.All they've ever proven is that they are basically Cowards. Canelo made the mistake of believing Dmitry Bivol was a powder puff boxer with no power WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!! He got his azz handed to him & he got the beating he had deserved for so long. What does Ginger do?? Bleats & moans he had a bad camp, He was "injured " Then Bivol was just too big at 175 ROFLMAO!! Dmitry says OK lets do the rematch at your weight 168 for all your belts. NO!!!!! said Ginger ROFLMAO Ginger was scared to death he might be forced to do it his peanut size testes shrunk even smaller . Oh El Pollo ROJO

TRUE!! They call themselves THE CHAMPIONS !! THE BEST FIGHTERs IN THEIR WEIGHT CLASS But refuse to fight the legitimate contenders eg dangerous challengers. They are Call themselves The Best Ever & The Greatest Mexican Fighter of all Time ROFL But in reality were just the two biggest con jobs EVER!!!!!

    Here you go again.

You find this amusing, yet you had no issue with Canelo dropping his belt to avoid fighting him.

    And?

So you had no issue with Oscar and Canelo doing that?

The Ward fight was never viable.

    He fought Derev.

BJS is on record saying that GGG would beat him and Eubank, and that he didn’t want the fight.

    Lara and Trout??

Are you trolling? You think an inactive 160 champ who has had 1 fight in 3 years, and never fought at 168, has the same credentials as the number one 168 contender, WBC interim Champ, and Mandatory who is a former 2x champ who has been actively fighting at 168 and had 2 big wins last year? Your arguments are laughable.

His own promoter confirms clenelo ducking Benavides:

    https://www.*******.com/promoter-confirms-benavidez-not-canelos-2024-plans--181495

“No,” said promoter Sampson Lewkowicz, when asked if his fighter David Benavidez would get the Canelo Alvarez fight in 2024.

Speaking exclusively to ProBox TV, Lewkowicz said there was almost no chance that his super-middleweight star would land boxing’s most-lucrative fight in either May or September this year and, as a consequence, the promoter thinks Canelo’s legacy will be tarnished.

“Canelo Alvarez will make his legacy and his legacy will be stained, because he did not fight the best at this time which is Benavidez,” Lewkowicz argued. “I think the children, maybe the grandchildren one day, will ask him why he did not fight Benavidez, because he [Canelo] says he wants the best fights, but that’s the best fight. Now he says he’s going to fight an American [in Las Vegas on May 4], at one moment in the contract it was [Jermall] Charlo, now we don’t know who the American might be.

The whine about Yildirim is hilarious. That's basically a standard GGG opponent.

Maybe it's because fighting Benavidez won't make much revenue as fighting Jermall Charlo? If you were a boxer, wouldn't you choose fights which would make you earn more money?
