Yeah, he got the Covid bad. The difference between the first and second Whyte fights was enormous. It looked like a different fighter.

Hope he stays retired.

Mate I agree 100%. Povetkin is my favourite all time fighter and I would hate for him to be embarrassed by that bum again.
No man except diehard Whyte fans consider that rematch a fair fight. My boy Sasha couldn’t even walk to the ring in a straight line the poor b******

 

First fight sent the Whyte fanboys into retirement and that's one boxing fans are going to remember. 41 year old Povetkin brutally starching Whyte in one of the best(if not the best) KO's of 2020.

 

Pretty sure he would have knocked out Wilder if that fight went ahead.

Povetkin had a great amateur career even before he went pro. Also one of my
favorite fighters.

When will he retire?

 

Sean Turner is the one who needs to retire by the look of things. Being stopped by a 44 year old Johnson like that is something any HW who values their reputation should hang their heads in shame about.

 

He makes good money in Russia, fighting prospects or crossover MMA guys.

 

Sok would have decapitated him in BKB if that fight would have taken place.

lost to 28yo 6'2" Zhaoxin Zhang (former super middle) in the 2nd round by KO. Romanov knocked Zhang down when Zhang get up, had his come back and won the fight.

Still can't believe Romanov lost by KO lmao, Zhaoxin Zhang is #32 now
