    I'm thinking Munguia.

Highly doubt it bro. I'm very sure his next fight will be Jermall Charlo. Remember he has a three fight deal with PBC, so he's under contact for two more fights.

After he fights Jermall Charlo it gets more tricky. The obvious PBC fighter would be Benavidez in September, but I have the feeling they are letting this one marinate for a mega fight in 2025 after Benavidez gets a couple more high-profile fights, perhaps the winner of Munguia-Ryder, and then after Canelo or maybe a stay busy and Canelo September 2025 which I can't hate on because time is on Benavidez' side not Canelo's. That would probably be Canelo's last fight unless he plans on giving 175 one last attempt.

It's just my guess but I really see it playing out this way.

My reasoning is the same as @IsaL, so I won't repeat it. We may both be wrong though.

Should definitely be Benavidez, he will get huge criticism if he fights anyone else.

If he fights Charlo, that would make it the third set of siblings he has beaten (Liam and Callum Smith, Jose and Miguel Cotto, and Jermall and Jermell Charlo); must be some sort of record?

Not hard to predict that Canelo will always duck.

Crawford has 40 fights and beat 10 former and current world champions (Excluding regional and secondary belts). Canelo has 60 fights and beat 19 current and former world champions, 17X Champion, and Crawford is 4 years older than Canelo. Canelo has challenged himself way more than Crawford or Benavidez, or anybody else. The man was going to challenge former WBC Cruiserweight Champion Ilunga Makabu, and whether you think it was a cherry pick or not, that takes some gall. GGG never left middleweight and David Benavidez petitioned and begged the WBC to reinstate him at 168, after they made him the number 1 contender at light heavyweight to fight Beterbiev. The excuse was he wasn’t ready, but Canelo challenged Floyd at 23. Objectively speaking, Canelo is worthy of criticism, but in my opinion he gets openly criticized and disrespected way too much.

Canelo has gone from welterweight to light heavyweight and people accuse him of ducking?

    Good grief.

He's going to fight both Pookie and RayRay? wow

Canelo will have the Cotto, Smith and Charlo brothers on his resume if it happens

    That's crazy

Reviewing my original post, the only options are Benavidez (will duck), Plant, Crawford (denied), or Charlo. Could it be Plant? I guess that isn't a duck.

Let's make a bet. I bet you $500 USD that Canelo will fight Benavidez this year or next year. And remember, Benavidez is 27, six years younger than Canelo.

Want to take the bet? We can get one of the mods to hold the money.

We heard 'next year' last year, but its Next year again now? lol Benavidez likely won't wait for the rest of next year once Canelo ducks him this year. Not fighting him on his 3 fight PBC is not enough to qualify as ducking? Now you need another year? hahaha

Why are you so desperate? Is it because you're hoping so bad that Canelo loses to Benavidez or you're invested in the SMW division?
