I knew nothing about Ngannou prior to the Fury fight ( I'm not an MMA fan). But in the Fury build up interviews and the post fight interviews, and subsequently the AJ build up interviews I've seen, he immediately comes across as a genuinely nice bloke, squire. Very likable There's nowt fake about his persona or self belief, that's for sure.
Ngannou Bombaye bayyy bayyy! All day! Right Hand, Left hook! Cheque boook! (These faceoffs are BAF though...)
Davidson is just AJ`s trainer, Hearn is who built AJ`s public image his trainers have had no say in his interviews at all.
Yes he does. I've known about him for ages because I am a MMA fan. He's an absolutely monster in the octagon
This man walked from the literal pits of hell and people think a femi wannabe fighter is going to stop him... The only reason Fury survived is because he also has seen the abyss of hell of such a pit and his fighting DNA is equivalently strong. The fighting gods are kind but kind they will not be to Eddie Hearn and his toyboy golden goose. This content is protected
You can just watch this because they usually don't last very long at all and neither does this HL vid lol This content is protected
Impressive, squire. He certainly had very fast punch speed and big power in some of those clips. As it's MMA some of the punch angles really are quite unorthodox compared to boxing, some are short chopping type punches, a bit of windmilling involved here and there too. Leaping long shots, etc Overall, Ngannou's cross over to boxing was really good considering it was his first pro bout. I know he's getting old now, and his pro time in boxing probably won't be that long, but he seems to be on a sharp learning curve and he comes across to me as taking boxing very seriously and seems to have a young man's driven ambition. Impressive at that age really. Maybe it's a case of 'a change is as good as a rest' for Ngannou, and he's really enjoying the freshness but late start in boxing. The big money and deep end big name fights are also an added incentive for him. He's being driven all round for sure. I'm gonna be honest, here. The AJ fight with him has really got my interest after his very decent debut with pork belly slice...
Yeah at one point he took out 4 opponents in less than 5 minutes of combined fight time, and 3 of them were top 10 ranked at the time. He had cartoonish power in MMA.
