I haven't hardly seen him fight anyone of substance in quite a while. I'd like to see him fight Keyshawn Davis, Haney and Matias, etc. Those are fights where the other guy will be able to put up a fight which kinda tells me he will never take them.
The single most overrated and overhyped guy in all of boxing. Like it's seriously Deontay Wilder stuff, cans and stiffs and cherrypicks everywhere.
Him and his team have no ambition to challenge themselves and are happy to cherrypick and duck the biggest fights.
It’s madness, he generates fanboys like GGG after beating a punch of past their prime guys. He’s done very little to warrant such an extreme level of hype.
Nothing. And that's precisely the problem... For all the hype and "P4P" claims, he's done basically nothing to prove any of it. Hopelessly overprotected... For a reason? Maybe. I'm at the point now where I'm refusing to give any credit that's not earned - if more fans would do the same, maybe a few more boxers would actually, you know, make good fights and actually prove us right (or wrong!)
PBC doesn't have the money to pay him what he's accustomed to. So he's going to sit on the shelf and enjoy his millions in the meantime.
Again, being critical of a fighter’s decisions is not hating, if we can’t be critical what’s the point. Again why do you keep bringing up things that are irrelevant? You seem completely incapable of actually engaging in any boxing discussion.
Exactly, couldn't have said it better. If there were more critique (and ability to take criticism!) in the world, maybe things would be much better than they are... I'm certain the sport of boxing would be.
Absolutely! The reason is right in his suspect mandible. Davis is packing glass and that's why his management doesn't put him in with live bodies. As soon as he faces anyone decent he's taking a brutal canvas nap.
