    I know, it's Canelo.
Maybe it's a fighters thing, they feel they could have beaten anyone.
    Still...

Anyway, any one on here think that he could have beat SRR or Monzon??

Canelo Alvarez has to remember he would not be fighting Jermell Charlo, he would be up against two all time greats. Carlos Monzon retired as World Middleweight Champion after 14 successful title defenses, had an 82 bout unbeaten streak dating all the way back to Oct 9 1964, was champion from Nov 7 1970 until his retirement on August 29 1977. Monzon defended the title against the likes of Nino Benvenuti, Bad Bennie Briscoe, Jose Mantequilla Napoles and Rodrigo Valdes. Sugar Ray Robinson was a 5 time World Middleweight Champion, fighting the likes of Jake La Motta, Randy Turpin, Gene Fullmer and Carmine Basilio. Robinson almost won the World Light Heavyweight Title from Joey Maxim on June 25 1952, Heat Prostration beat Robinson that night after a strong performance in round 14. Alvarez was clearly outclassed by 175 lb Champion Dmitry Bivol on May 7 2022. Bivol is scheduled to fight co champion Artur Beterbiev next to unify the title. Both Monzon and Robinson could have defeated the smaller Alvarez.

He's right in a way, because he'd have never gone near them. But that is a helluva an ego for someone who lost every round to a 36 year old lightweight.

Does he have the rigged Vegas Venue in his pocket again? with another 118 - 110 scorecard getting turned it

I doubt that we will ever see a middleweight who could beat Monzon.

Maybe of its only 12 rds, he gets to come in at 180, loads up on the boar meat, ages them out and works his strongest cinnamon scorecard magic yet...

We'll get a repeat of the first two GGG fights.

He needs to retire immediately. He's clearly taken too many punches to the head.

I can't stick him. Not with the attitude he's got.

Never could stand the guy to be honest. A combination of special vitamin pills, pre-written scorecards, and well-timed/cynical matchmaking. His two best opponents, Mayweather and Golovkin, both beat him handily, regardless of him being handed a draw for lasting the distance against Golovkin.

Both SRR and Monzon would have schooled Canelo badly.
