    It was Ruiz’s next fight after Golota. Don King was better off with two champions.

    wasn’t Brewster with King?

    I'll give the man some credit. On paper he had a pretty good career, despite not being all that talented imo.

    I don't think that he was strictly managed by King, but he and his promotor were very thick with King.

    Kind was not that far off being able to arrange a unification tournament at the time, and the possibility was being discussed.
