Why is it a fault? He's moving up to his nature weight class. It's a mistake that he's allowed to fight at 168.

To tell the truth, I don't believe he will move up to 175 and challenge fighters with similar size to himself .

 

You must be new to boxing. Almost every fighter cuts hard to have a size advantage, its normal. Its not a mistake, he makes the weight its boxing. Nobody fights at their natural weight other than heavy weights. Crawford walks around at 170lbs.

 

More than Ryder, Plant, Charlo twins, etc. would add. You may try to downplay what Benavidez brings to the table. Cool. Canelo knows what's up, though, which is why he is clearly avoiding this fight.

The more Canelo ducks this fight, the more he has added to Benavidez' aura. Canelo barely speaks in public these days because the same name keeps coming up. He gets visibly angry when people ask him about the one guy he is afraid to fight and has, therefore, gone into hiding.

He can go away and hide for the rest of his days for all i care. Ducking Benavidez so blatantly will bring Canelo's entire resume into question... losing 10-2 vs. Floyd and Bivol, gift victories vs. GGG and Lara, etc.

Was Canelo a bully when he fought Khan and Mayweather because they were much smaller than him? Fighters cut weight all the time, some more than others, it’s the basics of boxing. You sound like a casual.

• Khan: 174 cm, reach: 180 cm
• Mayweather: 173 cm, reach: 183 cm

So, how can you say that Floyd and Khan was much smaller than Canelo?

I admit that several of Canelo's opponents go into the fight to win, but once they feel those bone crushing, muscle tearing combos, their plans go out the window and are focused on not getting KO.

 

Its not weird when he knows its pointless to even bother when Suliman previously said the winner of plant benavidez would be made Canelos Mandatory. Its almost been a year and it still has not happened. Now apparently Suliman is going to order the fight?

Suliman clearly threw Benavidez a bone by creating a nonsense interim WBC at 175, to get Benavidez off Canelos back.

Jheez you are in denial. On fight night Canelo weighed 167 pounds, over 10 pounds heavier than Floyd. So who is the bully by your definition lol
