I was thinking about Lee Wood getting KO'd infront of his home fans against Lara.
And then Conlan, who he beat, also getting KO'd infront of his home fans against Lopez.

    It's a random one..
But can you think of any other dramatic, unexpected losses infront of Home fans?

That was the best thing that could possible have happened from the British perspective.

Good call. He also knocked out Pat Cowdell in the UK too. Talk about a home wrecker.

I was ringside when a weight drained Cory Spinks lost the welterweight title to Zab Judah in front of 20k St Louis fans. It was the first world title fight in St Louis in years.

I would love to recreate Tommy's alleged training regimen for this fight, but I feel my heart might give out.

Johann Orsolics of Austria was the European welterweight champion and had just signed for a title fight against Jose Napoles. Now the bout was signed, yet, some brilliant member of the Orsolics team decided to take on a top contender just for good measure. Unfortunately for Johann, they chose Eddie Perkins, who proceeded in slaughtering Orsolics in 4 rounds. Orsolics lost the fight, lost his title opportunity and all in Vienna, no less.

Great composure from Bentt - it’s hard to believe that he surrendered so meekly when he & Will Smith once came to blows.
