That there are posters saying Benavidez is ducking Canelo by fighting Gvozdyk just epitomises the depths of depravity we have reached

Can Benavidez not make 168 anymore? There are other good fights in the division that could be made

Those same fights will be available at 175 if he handles his business.

Those fights at 168 are better than the one he might take at 175

Hey funny, there are posters saying that Canelo ducked Benavidez by fighting Bivol. Ain't that something lol

Mungia was given a 50/50 offer he ducked. They tried to contact Mbilli, they got crickets. Morrell was not heard from and beating a guy with 10 fights brings him nothing. They were offered Adames from 160, and that would have been a waste of time. Looks like 175 was the best option sadly.

Didn't they have an agreement with Morrell? Or was that not true? I heard his manager say that

They really aren't. Apart from Canelo, Beterbiev/Bivol are bigger than anything at 168, where there is really nothing left for Benavidez.

Morrell or Mbiliil are much better fights than a Gvozdyk fight

Not really. And Morrell will be at 175 before long, and with a better resume than what he has at the moment.

Gvozdyk was retired for 3 years. Morrell is in his prime & at 168 right now

Nothing signed. You think beating a 10-0 fighter is better than a chance at being Mandatory for undisputed at 175?

Morrell isn't a big fight right now. If he is in his prime, he can show it by fighting someone in the top 10. Maybe HE should be the one fighting an Mbili.

Again, he will be at 175 real soon after Canelo ducks him, too.

His manager claimed it was signed. Was that a lie? Fighting a guy in his prime is better than a guy who was retired for 3 years

If the fight never happened then it clearly was not a signed contract fight genius? Did team Morrell ever claim that? From what I understand Morrell was just an option on their contract.

No that is stupid logic. What determines 'better' is the reward you get for the victory.
