Pretty sure Benavidez said he never signed that fight and that it was all rumors.

 

Of course he is. Benavidez has been interim champion since 2022 and Canelo has fought lesser fighters at SMW instead of Benavidez time and time again.

Canelo is worn out. Too many miles on the clock now. He's smart enough to know he can't beat a hungry animal like Benavidez

 

This is unprecedented levels of ducking. I've never seen someone sit on an undisputed title and prevent an elite, highly regarded number one contender the opportunity to become champ. At least relinquish the title if you aren't going to defend it. Geez.
