The most likely fight for Canelo's return to DAZN after his tumultuous split from PBC. First noble Mexico-Puerto Rican clash since Canelo-Cotto. (even though Berlanga isn't born in Puerto Rico, but in fact in Brooklyn New York).

Yeah honestly can't say a lot about this potential fight, except how much of a steaming pile of horse **** this is if Canelo does fight Bumlanga. Somehow Berlanga will be counted as a WBA mandatory defense for Canelo, even though David Morrell is in the same freaking division.

The only positive thing from this whole thing is how hilarious it will be when Berlanga gets KTFOed to the Shadow Realm.

Ridiculous mismatch. Berlanga is average in everything (at best), even his power isn't that good. Canelo continues to disappoint

Berlanga struggles against Rolls. Easy win for Canelo.

Berlangy has beaten nothing but D, E and F levels

Went life and death against some of those D levels and many feel he lost to some of them or arguably lost to some of them

He's had to cheat numerous times in those fights - biting, butting, low bows

But his moniker is ''The Chosen One'' and he acts like he's already a superstar and is the crown prince to the P4P throne

Sure he can punch a bit but I don't think it's an exaggeration to say that Yildirim who Clenelo was crucified for facing even though Yildirim was his mandatory has a better resume than him and probably would've beaten him or at least would've been 50-50 vs him. At least Yidirim was robbed against Dirrell

Berlangy might be the most delusional fighter ever. He's the definition of a manufactured hype job and his whiskers are suspect.

I don't care how many of his countrymen he's got behind him and how much the Mexico vs Puerto Rico rivalry sells this is a complete joke of a fight and the fact he is and has long been spoken about as a threat to Clenelo and worthy of a shot at him is just as big a joke.

Why isn't Cenelo insisting Berlangy has to beat someone first and earn his shot? Berlangy's resume makes Benavidez's look like Greb's and SRR's and Benavidez's resume is weak

The fans and the sport lose, a sad day if it actually goes ahead.

Canelo easy work. Berlanga is a hype job, has been one since his 14 KO streak.
Struggled vs McCrory who he should have taken out within 3 rounds. Has many
    holes in his game.

Munguia is also too green, which is why Canelo will take him on in September.

Nah, it's better than another Charlo. A PR vs Mex bout is always fun.

Unnecessary mismatch. Canelo smokes Berlanga unless he gets old overnight.

Berlanga is a better fight than Mell and Mall Charlo for sure, but it's not the fight we all want. Munguia in May, Benevidez in September is the ideal plan for Canelo. Berlanga can and should wait, and actually get a marquee name under his belt before fighting Canelo in a PPV fight that probably does 500k at the most.
