They aren't equal Dren. You know Benavidez is the highest ranked of the three. Mungia had been at SprMw for just a couple years? No notable wins yet. Same for Berlanga.

But they are his "Top contenders" though right? Benevidez is the biggest fight for Canelo at the moment, but in terms of facing his top contenders like you said, that's exactly what he's doing.

No they're not, but you said "continue to fight his top contenders or vacate" I think that's what his plans are. Like I said Canelo has fought the guys the boxing public has demanded, I think he'll fight Benevidez too. If not then I'll be the 1st to say he ducked DB.

What notable wins does Benavidez have?

Canelo fought a three fight deal with PBC, and now we know according to a report that Benavidez was not part of the deal.

Now that Canelo is a free agent, let's see if Matchroom can persuade Al Haymon to let Benavidez come to DAZN to fight Canelo.

Doesn't matter what notable win he has. The fight most fans on social media are asking for is Benavidez, who is also his top contender and, as most would agree, the next logical opponents after the 2 easy fights of Canelo's after Ryder and Charlo.

but he just did… not age out as in old age
But he “weighted” benevidez out as he knew The monster couldn’t make 168lbs comfortably forever.

My point is that Canelo doesn't need Benavidez, because Benavidez hasn't made a name for himself outside of being Canelo's boogeyman for his haters.

Canelo has fought much more accomplished fighters, HoFers. Benavidez is nobody yet.

Even the way Benavidez became champion wasn't impressive. Vacant title.

With that said, PBC didn't put Benavidez on the contract. Canelo was offered a contract over 100 million dollars to have an easy year. There is no ****ing boxer who wouldn't take a deal like that. Lol

 By that logic of 'need', what did FLoyd need to face Canelo for? With all his money, what's the 'need' top fight anyone at 168? No on e brings money he doesn't already get.
