Just rewatched the Tszyu vs Mendoza fight. It was horrifying. This man will try to tear your head off with uppercuts and once he discovers they are effective, he ain’t shy about spamming more of them in rapid succession. I don’t get why Charlo is avoiding him. He always walks around with his head tilted to the side as if he got a crook in his neck. I think Tszyu’s uppercuts will work nicely a treatment option. They worked for Mendoza. Forget the soul taker. This man is the head ripper offer.
Charlo has known for years that Tszyu will destroy him. That is why he never fought him and never will.
I think the best version of Charlo beats Tszyu with relative ease. Unfortunately, what is left of Charlo (for whatever reason) would likely lose at this stage of his career. But, it is unlikely to be a blowout. Tszyu isn't any master boxrer. His skillset is echelons lower than his father's was.
I laugh every time someone uses that line. I don't know why it remains funny. But it does. To Uncle June.
Peak Charlo had fits with both Tony Harrison and Brian Castano. Tim Tszyu beats any version of Charlo. His front foot pressure and superior power would be too much to handle.
Seems moot as Tim will face Keith One Time and then Bud Craw Time. When will there be time for the steadily fading Charlo(s)? I wonder if they'll ever fight again.
The best version of Charlo would struggle with Jeff Horn who Tszyu beat to a pulp in a one sided fight.
