Canelo is more respectful of the sport, but still I think he’s more overrated. Fury is a clown, but I still think he’s the best in his division, whereas I don’t think Canelo is the best in his.

Who was absolutely past it? Beating him in the second fight was impressive but by the third GGG was cooked and it had shown in his last performances.

Post Sergiy (who imo beat him) GGG was fading fast. Compare the Murata fight to the first Canelo fight and Jacobs fights where he went toe to toe with two world class guys and won (imo) both.

I’m not one to try and unfairly deny credit, so many on here unfairly take credit away from Canelo for beating GGG in the second fight because it was close and Golovkin got robbed in the first fight. However I do not regard beating a 40 year old GGG in his final fight of his career that highly. Plus he had to move to a new weight class, one which Canelo had bean fighting at for two years.

He was the best fighter at 160. That's something.
    Fair point.

Canelos resume is leaps and bounds ahead of Fury.

Canelo has also never punched himself in the face as far as i'm aware.

Was he thought? We didn’t know because he refused to try and unify with Jermall, Andrade, or later Janibek. I don’t particularly rate if any those guys but still I would have given them a decent shot at a declining GGG who had one foot out the door.

Vau, professional boxer and Champion would batter.... What an accomplishment for him. I can imagine his PR would make a "match of the century" from slapping me around. That's exactly what I was talking about. He would win in one kind of sport out of 10. That's pretty pathetic for him as a professional athlete.

Oh really? So you could compare Liston, Frazer, Foreman, Shavers, Foster, Lyle, Chuvalo, Patterson, Quarry etc.. to Wilder??
Wilder is one of the worst fighter ever at this kind of level, also he was taylor made for Fury, who is technical, bigger, physically stronger with more boxing iq. I would say that Fury is not even really tested yet. Yes, of course he has a great win against Klitschko, but one is not enough.
Absolutly two different level. Canelo has solid resume and 15 world champions beaten. Fury beat just one great fighter and a guy who has just the right hand, who shows that is really easy to be disrupted in term of the style. Once you put him on the backfoot he is done. The loss to Parker tells a lot about who Wilder really is. Parker was annihilated by Joyce and was totally declining.
