You don't blame someone for not being professional because someone else is not being professional? Haney should do what he's suppose to because his brand is on this event as well. Let Ryan damage himself, but you don't just stop doing what you're suppose to do simply because some else isn't handling their business. At the very least, Ryan will be replaced via breach of contract, but if both parties refuse to do what they are suppose to, I'm sure it will hurt both camps financially as well as their marketability in the future. Let alone, they may have some sort of lawsuit depending on what contract details they aren't honoring.

 

I would be surprised if this fight actually happens; Garcia should be in rehab and nowhere near a boxing ring.

 

This a consequence of thinking you made it before you actually made it. The Davis fight, IG following, his delusional father blowing up Ryan's head. Garcia knows he's a solid draw so why be entirely dedicated to boxing? Because of this...Garcia doesn't have the same hunger you should have as a fighter. He's more worried about his social influence, his personality is fading into an addict. The Haneys once again grab low hanging fruit with high reward. Bill knows Devin can't sell a fight on his own so Ryan is the perfect opponent who's low risk high reward. Ryan gotta stop the drinking and smoking. Doing that while having depression only sinks you.
