I think that this would be a very dangerous fight for Holmes at this stage of his career. Obviously Loughran didn't do it, Spinks did it.
Holmes.I don't think Tommy had the physicality or the pop in his punches to beat even that version of Larry.
Loughran has no chance as he just doesn't have the physicality. Spinks is taller, heavier (bulked up scientifically and held the weight superbly) and has a longer reach as well as being incredibly canny himself and a bonafide KO puncher at 175. Spinks fought the perfect fight and even then encountered quite a bit of trouble. Holmes would knock him out inside 5.
Yeah as much I respect what Loughran did, I wouldn’t make him a favorite against even a 1985 Holmes
