Well clearly he would rather fight easier opposition for good money than someone good for just a little more. It's not like he hasn't ducked opposition before, namely GGG until he thought he was old enough to be taken and then of course the Bivol rematch by low balling him.

In all seriousness, Benavidez should call up Eddie Hearn and ask him to put the fight together. Perhaps the fight can be made for May on DAZN. That's what we all want to see.

Eddie Hearn & Canelo are both full to the brim with Bull Feces ROFL. Canelo's support has dwindling dramatically. He claims & wears a crown claiming to be King of Boxing ROFLMAO while he demanded ludicrous fights with the semi retired Charlo twins. Bivol offered a rematch at 168 for Canelo's trinkets, Canelo said No Says no to Benavidez. He's just conning the fans.
Dmitry Bivol took him to school made him look pathetic & embarrassed him. It was nothing to do with the weight Bivol was just the better fighter He OWNED Canelo. & Canelo knows it.
Canelo has conned the boxing world far too long theyre tired of his BS. Saying either fight the legitimate opponents a champion should face or Strip him of all his titles let him retire in shame.
Times up Canelo.....Man up or shut up & disappear & let the REAL fighters take the sport back to where it should be

He either makes a bunch of 168 defenses, drops the belts he holds for just money fights, or goes up to 175 again to try his luck.

Right but not really any big, winnable fights unless he figures out a way to beat Bivol thr 2nd go round. Benavidez fight will be kinda his last hurrah.

Canelo does not want to succumb to the pressure after the disrespect from Benavidez's camp.

Hearns and Canelo are both full of BS. If Hearns was so great, Canelo wouldn't have left in the first place. He is not gonna fight Benevidez no matter who his promoter is. He was ducking Benevidez when he fought Bivol and he ducking him now by leaving PBC. You wanna see Canelo run. Get serious about him fighting Benevidez and he takes off. He don't want that smoke. PBC, Top Rank, Golden Boy, and Matchroom, all play the same game so you might as well call it like it is and stop hatin on PBC cause they are not by themselves. If Canelo wanted to fight Benevidez, all he have to do is say it and it will happen and any promotional company that he is associated with at the time will honor that because it's a big money fight.

David was interview today and also confirmed the PBC 55m offer plus PPV. Canelo ran to fight Berlanga and Mungia for less.

Because he's being offered heap tons of money to do so with less risk. He maximizing that gravity train. PBC was going to pay him $35 million to beat Jermall and as far as I understand that was Canelo's minimum ask. Considering Jermalls inactivity and other issues thats guaranteed easy money for Canelo. I have no idea how much Canelo would ask for a Mungia or Berlanga fight, but you can bet it ain't going to be far off. Thus the Benavidez offer even at $55 million just isn't appealing enough.

IMO Canelo sees Benavidez as someone who is high risk that possibly can beat him or even if Canelo wins, that kind of fight would put a lot of extra wear and tear for not much reward compared to what he could be making against weaker opposition. He's never taking the Benavidez option unless someone offers him astronomical pay for the match or there's kind of clause in their contract that gives Canelo the advantage.
