I thought that after the Martin fight, he had a bright future, because they could market him to an old-school ethnic fanbase and sell him to the greater public as a kind of Galento, second-career Foreman guy who comes in with the belly and gets it done anyway. He was always limited, and with his swarming style, it was, in hindsight, pretty stupid to send him in there with a big puncher like Helenius.

Now he will be lucky if he is not showing Alzheimers at 45.

 

Yes, it’s a sad situation. He needed to quit after the second Helenius fight.

 

Sad to see. I guarantee he’ll fight again, and like most said here I guarantee in the near future we’ll see him with some kind of brain injury.
