Gotta say an epic finish to a great fight. A bit early perhaps but I thought it was fair enough. That's one for the history books anyway.

 

If rope held him up you rule a knock down. You don't wave it. He was not out of it.

 

This is a chavez-taylor type stoppage. That's a standing 8 count for sure.

Kholmatov ran when he should have held and got stopped.

 

On further review, I understand the referee better. K was out on his feet and turned his back along the ropes with his hands down.

 

This thread is very biased to Kholmatov. He was hurt a couple times and has mostly been ineffective tonight in my opinion. Volume and awkwardness were winning him rounds while Ford landed the more hurtful shots. Happy to see a stoppage for Ford who pulled through big time. Great fight by two brave and talented fighters.

 

Wtf Did I watch? Crazy Kohl vs Ford.

 

A bit early? Any later and they have to rob him on the cards instead.
