Is it just me who thinks Munguia is a dangerous fight?

As they should. But Benavidez will stop Canelo, so this is a moot point.

Munguia will be easy work for Cabelo. And it's not a cherry pick. Dumping Charlo was a good idea.

I'm a Munguia fan and he is a good fighter. The problem is that he is so technically flawed. He leaves himself wide open when he goes on the offensive and he gets popped a lot. Alvarez, even this aging version, is going to be able to nail Munguia coming in and will probably get his first knockout since Plant in 2021.

I agree. Canelo needs to be careful with everyone from here on out, as he has a target on his back, should be an exciting fight.

Ofc munguía is dangerous. Any guy who can punch like he does is dangerous.

Without a doubt. I don't like Munguia too much, but to say there's no threat is just dumb. If that is the case, Golovkin never faced a single threat in his career except Canelo and Jacobs. But they don't want to hear that.

Was there a threat when Golovkin faced Lemieux? Sure there was. Was it a great opponent? Nah.

Munguia is much better today than when he first hit the limelight. That said, his style is tailor made for Canelo. I reckon Canelo is going to counter the hell out of him and mess him up a la John Ryder. Maybe Munguia has a better chin and gas tank than I give him credit for. If he can keep the pressure on down the line and survive Canelo's bombs (doubt it) then he may be able to exploit ginger's iffy gas tank late.

One thing I can say for sure: he is MUCH more dangerous than journeyman-level Berlanga

What about Derevyanchenko? I think he beat GGG and hurt him more than anyone ever did

Munguia has really poor defense. He got hit a lot in every fight. He just overwhelms weaker and older fighters with volume, youth and physical strength.

That won't work against the elite fighters. He's going to get hit and he's going to hit a lot. He is tailor-made for Canelo to look good.

Munguia will get hit in the 1st round, get rocked in the 2nd round and get laid out in 3rd round.

This! Mungia has a bit of heart but that's all really - gets laid out within 6rds IMO... Canelo just too accurate and with a bit sharp (overwrapped?) power.

Canelo has no bicycle. When Benavidez starts warming up and lighting up Canelo's body from both sides, there will be nothing he can do about.

DB via avalanche TKO. Round 11.

    ...But Canelo knows this already.
