Is it just me who thinks Munguia is a dangerous fight?

Is that like when Benavidez knocks Canelo out you'll say he's past his prime, this win is not legit?

    Benavidez can't beat Canelo.

True. Bit hard to beat someone who refuses to ever fight you.

Obviously because Canelo won't fight him. But if he did, and he won which most expect to happen, I wonder how you would try to downplay the victory.

Canelo has great resume and great achievements. Who is Benavidez to beat him? Plant made him look bad in early rounds.

Canelo knocks him out easily. He's just waiting the hype to get bigger, in order to maximize the payday. Then he will burst the balloon called Benavidez, don't worry.

Then your next hero candidate will be Morrell. You will say "Actually the real deal in super middleweight is Morrell. Canelo is ducking him." And it will go on and on.

See this actually exemplifies the difference between me and you.

I'm a boxing fan, so I want to see the best fight each other, so after Benavidez I would then want Canelo to fight Mbilli or Morrell next.

You're a Canelo fan, you just want him to avoid defeat.

Thanks for demonstrating it though, I usually have to explain to people the difference.

It's an improvement that you've already started to find excuses for Benavidez's obvious demise at the hands of Canelo.

Don't worry, Canelo will send Morrell and Mbilli to hospital too, along with their big paychecks.

You just come off as childing when you keep repeating this line. NO ONE would say that or is suggesting Morrell as a threat to Canelo yet. In fact, virtually everyone agrees it's way to early for Morrell to even suggest he's a threat to Benavidez FFS.

    The magical keyword is: "yet".

When Canelo knocks out Benavidez in September or in 2025, same people will say "OK, Canelo beat Benavidez, but now the real threat in super middleweight is Morrell. Canelo is scared of the Cuban. BLA BLA BLA".

And after Canelo wastes Morrell, same people will say "Morrell was too green anyway. The real threat is Mbili. Canelo is scared of Mbili".

After Canelo destroys Mbilli, it will repeat again.

No, you WANT them to say that. So you can post stuff like this more and more. That's just the game you want to be playing here.

No excuses are needed, again I'm a boxing fan not a Canelo fan. A fighter is responsible for himself, he doesn't need me to excuse anything.

The chances of Canelo sending Benavidez, Mbilli and Morrell to the hospital are extremely remote. That would mean he'd face his number 1 contender 3 fights in a row.

Something he hasn't done since he beat Plant.

Morrell has had ten total fights. And not beaten ANYONE remotely close to who Benavidez has beaten. Do you not see the difference in situations between Morrell v Benavidez and Canelo v Benavidez? Because all your arguments as to why Benavidez does not deverse a shot at Canelo apply moreso to Morrell, if you are consistent.
