Another is a massive stadium fight. Another could be for the welterweight world title. And the other is a former two-division world champion. Conor's gonna be in a massive fight next.” Ok so who are the 4 then? The last one must be Danny Garcia.
My money's on the massive stadium fight opponent then we find out Josh Warringtons doing a Natasha Jonas and hopping up a few weight divisions
I imagine 'one of the greatest fighters of our generation' is Pacquiao. The massive stadium fight will be somebody like Brook. 'Could be for the welterweight world title' must mean Hearn is hoping Crawford vacates and he can somehow set up a title fight against a soft touch. Because Benn isn't going anywhere near Ennis lol. Then like you said, the former two-division champion will be somebody like Garcia who Hearn hopes is past it enough for an egg free Benn to beat.
More chance of Lorraine Kelly. Can't see Benn fighting a live body before fleecing the public for a Eubank PPV or two.

It will probably be the usual PR stories from Eddie Hearn about all the big fights that awaits Conor Benn and then he ends up meeting a club fighter.
I had been hoping it was maybe like the 1970s with the US trying to buy its way to a football league, but the deeper pockets make it a bit more than that. In a sense I wouldn't mind as much if it was just being bankrolled (like LIV Golf) and held in actual venues people recognise or can get to, but for some reason "his Excellency" seems to want it all in his back garden. That's what bothers me more than the land grab. He seems desperate to work with UK promoters, why not make it the Saudi Aramco York Hall and put the fights somewhere with atmosphere? TV viewers would love it. If facilities were an issue, that big card before Christmas had half the fighters in caravans outside!
I agree 100%. The ATP tour in tennis has sold their soul to Saudi and I heard today on the job about another sport that is close to signing a contract with Saudi. Money talks. Sad.
And again I wouldn't mind so much if it was just the odd thing, and if it moved around a bit. Look at the 70s where Ali could pretty much choose his country, and got around; Lewis in South Africa, Tyson in Japan, we had champions in Germany, Russia, etc. Sticking it in dead arenas in the middle of nowhere will kill off the audience.
