you obviously made the mistake i did in gettin the cultures mixed up. you see in american boxing you floor someone by stunning them, that is why the scoring can differn in other countries. you get a lot more 10-8's in michigan :lol::lol::lol:

i think you fail to see something here as you are not from britain. England and Wales (which are two different countries, although you may say different every welshman and englishman will agree) have a huge rivalry. When Calzaghe was on his way up he fought in England v Englishman many times, now as an unknown 'sheep shagger' (as he would have be called by many englishmen) fighting an englishman back then i can guarentee you that during those fights he faced a more hostile enviroment than any top 30 p4p american figter today! As we have established most have never left the usa yet, but those who have will never have fought in that enviroment the amount of times clazaghe did, it probably wasnt until around robin reid that he went through the transition of being a '****ing taffy sheep shagger' to being a 'brit'.

ok so you didnt tell me yourself that you thought Dawson belonged there, but ill bet any money there were on friday at least 15 clear places between froch and dawson in your own p4p list, and thats for one reason and one reason only....Dawson has a dixie passport

Carl Froch perfect example of how much of a mental sport boxing is.
he is so confident and it elevates his game 2x what his skill level really is.

The longer time goes on the more I appreciate Carl Froch.. I mean the fighters we produce right now in Britain are bloody awful.. i pine for the days of Calzaghe, Benn, Froch etc... I can happily sit down and watch a Carl Froch any time.. and that's the mark of a great fighter.. yes he's not considered a great boxer but he's a great fighter.. highlight reel fight after highlight reel fight and a resume that a lot of Fighters today would die for.. as for the Pascal Dawson thing it's been done to death.. stop making excuses for Dawson he was whooped that night.. watch round 8.. Pascal chins him and Dawson tries to Rugby tackle him to stay upright LOL.. fight wasn't even close.. Pascal was working him with right hands all night.. Dawson had one good moment where he stunned him a bit but he wasn't ever going to knock him out imo .. how many people have stopped Pascal other than prime Kovalev? Dawson couldn't hack it.. looked beaten, was beaten & went on to be beat again. Rules are rules. Stopped on cuts it goes to cards.. if Dawson was as good as everyone was making out he should have been up on them shouldn't he.

Haha. You'd think the noun floor would be a hint for what the verb means in boxing. Why the f would anyone use it in a figurative way in boxing. When floored means stunned figuratively, it refers to a mental/emotional state, not physically stunned.
